The fill of ounces determines the classification of light weight, medium weight, and heavy weight. The Queen pillow with 20 oz is a medium weight pillow whereas the Queen pillow with 16 oz is a light weight pillow. This means that the pillow with it's differing down fill will either make it more or less softer with the loft being a factor as well. To determine a good sleeping pillow, depends on the sleep pattern and position of the body, ie stomach sleepers should have the lowest down fill and softest pillow.

The duvet fill power determines the classification for warmth and heaviness of the duvet. The Twin size light weight has the lowest ounces where as the heaviest Twin has the most down fill. Most find the heavy weight down comforter also called duvet too hot and heavy. We suggest to start with a lowest fill power if you prefer to use the duvet and the duvet covers as a decoration more than for warmth comfort. Also, warmer climates, ie Hawaii or Florida is great for light weight duvet.

Machine wash, front loader with no agitator necessary. do not bleach, use fabric softener. down wash is best used to preserve the down. dry in a dryer with tennis ball. air dry too is best.
