Woven in Nepal from the finest 2 ply cashmere in a subtle herringbone weave of 180 grams weightit is finished with a delicate hand-knotted fringe, for the gentlest embrace this side of heaven. *Made in Nepal.Statistics: Our Sferra cashmere is of 15.3 microns in thickness, our purity is 98% and we use long fibers around 30mm with a low twist to get the best possible feel, the lower the twist of the yarn the better the feel. But the low twist yarns can only be hand loomed. For a mechanical loom the twist needs to be high which results in a coarser feel. We hand loom all our throws and blankets for the best possible feel.
